Please join us for the penultimate English Postgraduate Research Seminar (PGRS) of this semester this Thursday 8 December, at 5.15pm in the Lock-keeper’s Cottage, Mile End Campus.

Our speaker is Professor Donna Landry, who will be giving a talk entitled: ‘Contested Lands: Wordsworth and the Genesis of English Topographical Poetry’

Donna Landry is Professor of English and American Literature at the University of Kent.  Her work regularly crosses disciplinary boundaries, including landscape aesthetics, Ottoman studies, art history, ecology, postcolonial theory, Middle Eastern and military history.
